The Sequined Linda Cardigan, with Tie-Neck Plunge Blouse, both of which I would love to add to my closet. Photo from Saks.com.
I have been loving most of what I've seen from Rachel Zoe's debut collection but my favorite thing has to be this combination of a tie-necked blouse with a sparkly sweater, named the Sequined Linda Cardigan after Linda Fargo, Bergdorf Goodman's Senior Vice President, Women's Fashion Director and Store Presentation, and someone I find myself increasingly looking for in both magazines and in the city when I'm at 57th Street and Fifth Avenue. I saw her last year at Bergdorf's during Fashion's Night Out, looking so glamorous in her dress and high heels, and with a big smile on her face as she watched all of us crazy fashion lovers enjoying the store she helps to run!
Linda Fargo, the chic Senior Vice President of Bergdorf Goodman. I love this whole look, especially her silver hair. Photo by Mr. Newton.
Rachel's collection is available at Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman, and, with slightly different offerings, at Piperlime.

I hope that when my hair is all gray it will be that pretty silver color and not the color of dirty March snow. I'd love to sport the look, it reads very New England preppy to me and I love that vibe.
Linda looks incredible! She would be easy to pick out of a crowd...hope you get to see her again.
That sweater reminds me of the one worn by the actress playing Coco in "Coco and Igor".
linda looks aazing! Love the cardigan - it's probably one of my favorite items too)))

Jill how are you holding up after earthquakes and hurricanes? I was excited to see that the Rachel Zoe collection has landed in Selfridges London! It ain't cheap but from the online stock I've seen it has Rachel's eye for style stamped all over it and it looks great. I must go into town to inspect and report back.
Hope your doing well with as crazy as it was last week with the horrible weather.
I love Ms. Fargos shoes.
I saw Rachel Zoe's collection earlier in the year and it's fabulous. Rachel Zoe also has a line for QVC that is pretty haute too.
I havent checked in on Rachel's stuff yet but she has a geat eye. I laughed at Doreens comment about the march snow--Linda I think started the trend in favor of grey hair--cept most of ours dosent look like hers...
Hi Sacramento, we didn't get the worst of Irene and I feel so lucky for that.
Hi Doreen, you are cracking me up with your comment about the dirty March snow-colored hair. Love it! I'm with you, I'd prefer Linda's silver shade.
Hi Adrienne, you just reminded me I need to see 'Coco & Igor.' You will be happy to know I finally have a copy of 'La Piscine' in my house, now I have to find time to watch it!
Hi Marina, if this cardigan goes on sale I am so all over it!
Hi Veshoevius, well, my nerves are shot even worse than they were after the earthquake and the hurricane (which ended up not effecting us as much as expected). Other than that, I'm great! PLEASE tell me if you get your hands on any of the Rachel Zoe pieces, even if it's just to look closely at them. I'm terribly interested in the quality of them. I am going to try to find a few pieces this week at Fashion's Night Out.
Hi JTWisdom, I like those shoes on Linda Fargo too, those leopard booties. I'm afraid I'm going to start looking for a pair of my own, even though they look mildly uncomfortable. And I would love to see what Rachel is doing on QVC these days.
Hi Paula! What are you talking about, you are blonde and gorgeous! I won't ever have hair the shade of Linda's but I plan on looking into Anna Wintour's shade of caramel/strawberry blonde/dark gold when it's time. I've seen the pictures of Anna at my age and we had a similar shade of hair (a medium-dark brown with a hint of red). I love the color of her hair now and I ALWAYS love the cut. I never get tired of a bob!
