The Return of Rachel

Rachel, Rodger, and Baby Skyler. Photo by Bravotv.com.

The Rachel Zoe Project returns for its fourth season on Bravo starting on August 2 at 9/8c. Bravo TV has posted a little season preview, which shows Rachel pregnant and working as hard as ever to style her clients, including Anne Hathaway for this year's Oscars (remember all those gown changes she had?) and Kim Kardashian (whose appeal I will never understand). My favorite is at the end, when Rachel is holding her tiny son Skyler in her arms--every mother out there will recognize the rooting reflex he's doing--and says to Joey, her makeup artist, "He's trying to eat my boob through my jacket."

Ah yes, one of the many joys of motherhood. I will love Rachel forever if she also talks about more fun things like milk letdown, leaky breasts, and her hair falling out. I can't wait to watch her try to balance her business, her marriage, and her new baby, in style.

I love her show and hope this season will be as fun as the last. Brad's gone though, right? Miss him already. Will be interesting to see what this season focuses on. :)

Hi Metsy, thanks for stopping by! I can't wait for the new season to see how Rachel deals with pregnancy and impending motherhood. And yes, Brad is gone, which is too bad. I was just watching some Season 3 last night and he's hilarious and fun. At least Joey is still around, he also cracks me up. I read Brad is getting his own show, but I'm not sure when it debuts.

Hi Sacramento, I wonder why Rachel is not shown in Europe. I think almost everybody can relate to her enthusiasm for fashion. I find it contagious.

Hi Marina, how are you? I've missed you! I think you'd love this show. And speaking of shows, I have to see at least one episode of "PanAm" when it comes out in fall to see what I think (and of course to see the costumes).

EEEEE! I can't wait! I adore Rachel. And I'm doubly curious about how she will juggle motherhood and her career.

On a related unrelated note, I think it was absolutely an act of divinity that Rach had a boy instead of a girl. I don't think God could do that to Rodg.

Hi Vahni! You are really going to laugh at me, but I don't have cable so I don't know when I can see Season 4, even though I will be dying to. I need to invite myself over to a friend's house.

And we are thinking alike about Rachel having a boy! I wished one for her in a post last October when I found out she was pregnant. Rodger needs a little buddy to hang out with while Rachel is off to the fashion shows and styling clients. A girl would've been good too, of course, but I think it's especially sweet for Rodger that she had a boy. She can give her vintage gowns to her niece!

Hi Paula, I've been watching Season 3 on DVD. I was mildly embarrassed to admit at first that I love this show but not anymore--Rachel has access to amazing clothes and jewels and I like it when we get to hear from designers too. For instance I love it when she talks to Oscar de la Renta and you can see him in his showroom, such a charming gentleman and what a great designer.
