Rachel Zoe in Sandals

Rachel Zoe and sons, Summer 2014.

Leave it to Rachel Zoe to pair sky-high wedge sandals with a colorful caftan and a gigantic gold necklace as she tends to her sons Skyler and Kaius earlier this summer. I love that Rachel doesn’t let dealing with a 3-year old and an infant slow down her sense of style. I don’t know how she walks in sandals that tall but I’m guessing she’s got so much practice at it that it’s probably old hat to her by now.

Look at the height of those shoes!

Let Rachel’s beachy vibe be your friendly reminder that Adrienne and I are accepting pictures of your outfit featuring sandals for September’s “How I Wear My.” Send photos to howiwearmy@yahoo.com by September 2, 2014. We’d love to have you join us!

Holding an infant with also the distractions of a 3yo while walking in those shoes is at the very least unwise.

Hi GSL, your comment is making me laugh--those shoes are crazy high, aren't they? I hope to God her babysitter was close by to either chase down Skyler if need be or take over the baby! XO, Jill

I can't get over the three year old boys outfit. They are sweet looking little ones, though.

I love this look and am impressed that she's wearing out while out with two kids. But, maybe the baby is too afraid of the spikes to grab that necklace!

Cute...doesn't Skylar look like his dad? Now, that I am a grandmother...I look at this and think...oh don't trip with that baby!! I love her style though!

I always marveled at how Victoria Beckham could sport her wee girl on her hip while strutting along in a tight skirt and sky-high heels. Now I'm thinking a big DITTO for Rachel Zoe. It's a fabulous look but, what with the flowy dress and death-wish wedges, I'd be super scared of getting the dress caught in something and then losing my footing and dropping bebe before breaking my neck! Honestly, I doubt most sleep-deprived moms could pull this off and survive. That's why I wear flats now. :)

Hi Marguerite, I love what Skyler is wearing, it reminds me of a man's swimsuit from the 1920s! Both he and Kai are adorable! XO, Jill

Hi Gracey, oh you are too funny, yeah, that necklace does look a little dangerously spiked, right? XO, Jill

Hi Dawn Lucy, I do love to see what Rachel is wearing even more now that she has kids! XO, Jill

Hi Pam, you are so right, Skyler looks exactly like Rodger. I think he is so very cute and Kaius is adorable as well. Rachel and Rodger have been blessed! XO, Jill

Hi Kelly, your comment is making me laugh, I totally hear you. I would never wear shoes like this while holding an infant and I can only hope the babysitter, or Rodger, or SOMEBODY, was close by, but I have to laugh that Rachel would continue to wear wedges of this height, even when her boys are this small. Her mother must be horrified every time she sees pictures like this, right? Ha. XO, Jill P.S. I'm with you on the flats. I only wear heels at night when I am around adults!
