This week's Links a La Mode demonstrates the one thing we fashion bloggers aren't afraid to do. Give advice. With all the shopping, hunting, reading and networking we do across a multitude of channels, it's no surprise that we develop certain skills when it comes to finding the best bargain, tracking down the ultimate vintage find or just knowing how to dress for our body type. Read up on all of this week's posts featured in Links a la Mode for a wealth of information for everything from dos and dont's to curbing those nasty little shopping habits we all can be guilty of here and there.

Thanks for leaving such a nice comment on my blog - I'm so glad I found you. I'm a Brooklyn girl myself, but now live in Texas. I loved reading your retrospective of McQueen. How I wish I could go see it in person. I'm your newest follower!
Congratulations! This is so deserved--it was a great article that made me wish to be in NYC this summer!
Congrats on making the LALM- very well deserved. Here's to the first of many .

Hi Elissa, thanks for stopping by, thanks for following! I'm glad I found you as well and I'm glad you know Brooklyn! I will be putting up more pictures of the McQueen exhibit so even if you can't see it in person you can have a look at some amazing clothes (more like art, really).
Catherine my dear, thank you for your kind words. I wish you were here in NYC this summer too, I think we'd get into some fun trouble at Hermes!
Hi Bella, thanks for the nice note. I was really excited to be included in the Links a la Mode. The competition is stiff so it was a big deal to me.
Hi Paula, thanks for your nice note. I'm glad you liked the McQueen post. Now I gotta get back in the city to take more window pictures for you!
Hi JTWisdom! I remember that I found you through Links a la Mode, that great piece you wrote about Michelle Obama's red McQueen dress. Thanks for your kind words.
